Meringue Cookie Christmas Trees


Ingredients:
4 large egg whites
2 1/4 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
Green food coloring 
Star sprinkles
Colored sprinkles

Yields: 35-38 Cookies

Directions:
Step 1 - Follow the recipe meingue cookies and during the last minute add 4 drops of green food coloring. Pre heat your oven to 250 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Pipe a large base, lift up slightly with the piping bag and pipe a slightly smaller mound and repeat for an even smaller top. Place a star sprinkle at the top and sprinkle with your colored sprinkles to mimic tree lights. Bake for 2 hours rotating the cookie sheets half way through, enjoy!
