Ingredients:
6 cups crisp rice cereal
1 package mini marshmallows
2.5 tbsps. butter
egg candies (chocolate or jelly beans)
canola oil spray
mini muffin tray
Yields: 48 Birds Nests
Directions:
Step 1: In a large non-stick pot place the butter until melted on a low-medium temperature. Then add marshmallows and stir every couple of minutes until melted. Then add the crisp rice cereal and mix until the marshmallows are evenly incorporated.
Step 2: Spray a mini muffin tin lightly with canola oil, so that the mixtures do not stick and remove easily. Scoop out a small amount into each opening and mold with your fingers. Work quickly as the mixture cools quickly. Then place an egg shaped candy in the center of each one.
Step 3: Remove gently with a spoon and place on parchment paper, wax paper or a cooling rack. Then repeat step 2 with the remaining half of the mixture. Enjoy!
