Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsps. vanilla
2 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
Directions:
Step 1: Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients in your mixer with the paddle attachment on medium-high speed until completely blended. I use a non-stick doughnut pan (if yours is not non-stick, spray lightly with canola oil).
Step 2: Use a spatula to place your ingredients into a bread bag or zip lock bag, clip off one of the corners and pipe the dough mixture into your doughnut pan.
Step 3: Bake for 8-10 minutes until bottoms are golden brown, then remove to let cool.
