1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1/4 tsps. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
Step 1: Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients into your mixer with the paddle attachment, blend on a medium-high speed. I use a non-stick doughnut pan (if yours is not non-stick spray lightly with canola oil.
Step 2: Use your spatula and scoop the batter into a large bread bag or zip lock bag, clip off one corner and pipe the dough into the doughnut pan.
Step 3: Bake for 8-10 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown, then remove and let cool.
